CARVER GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE: Committee wants selectmen’s support for a dozen recommended initiatives
Plymouth, MA – The Governance Committee has voted in favor of a dozen initiatives during the past year and is now seeking the support of selectmen. A vote of the board would be required before 10 of the 12 initiatives could be adopted. The other two are subject to collective bargaining negotiations.
The committee’s first initiative recommends that the Board of Selectmen adopt a policy that would require regular quarterly meetings among designated town and School Department officials to foster discussion and cooperation . . .
