Questioned about the role of a governance committee, the chairman of the new Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association governance committee said last Friday its role is similar to a nonprofit board’s nominating committee, but with enhanced duties.
Tom Weiss, who is also vice president of the POA’s board of directors, told governmental affairs committee member Paul Day the POA probably needs to better inform property owners about the role and need for a governance committee.
