November Updated Snippets
Consent Agendas, Executive Session, and Filling Vacancies
The meeting snippets for November 2021 are updates on on “Consent Agendas – Snippet 102.1,” “Executive Session – Snippet 103.1, ” and “Filling Vacancies – Snippet 104.1.” With usage of virtual and hybrid meetings, changes to Robert’s Rules of Order, 12th Edition and our experiences, these updates are timely. We will continue to bring many more snippets up to date with current situations and practices; we will still be issuing snippets on new areas of interest on meetings and governance. If you have a topic or suggestion, please let us know.
An original Snippet will have a whole, integer number (such as 105); while updated Snippets will add a decimal to the number to show the revision sequence. Original Snippets which have been “superseded” will be retired. The new snippets can be found at: Current Snippets
What’s a Snippet?
Snippets are single page articles that explain some aspect of leadership, meetings or parliamentary procedure. New Snippets are released on the first day of every month on the Snippet page at www.agreatmeeting.com. After a month they are placed in the past Snippet area for future reference.
How do I get them?

You can also sign up for the monthly Snippet announcement email on the home page or the Snippet page of our website. New Snippets are announced on the 20th of each month. There is no charge to subscribe to the announcement, and we will not use your email address for any purpose other than sending you monthly Snippet announcements.
