Jadan Terrazas, a senior at Ponca City High School, campaigned and won the title of Governor, the highest ranking official at the 2016 Oklahoma American Legion Boys State. Jadan’s parents are Alfonso and Wendy Tarrazas of Ponca City.
The Oklahoma Boys State program takes place from approximately the end of May until the beginning of June and enrollment is now open for 2017. Students who are currently juniors are encouraged to apply so they can participate the summer before their senior year.
