A month after a legal settlement brought an end a long-running dispute betweens the High Plains Library District and some of its member libraries in rural Weld County, tensions are on the rise again.
The High Plains Library District Board of Trustees held a special meeting Thursday afternoon to introduce amendments to district bylaws. The meeting, and those amendments, violate the terms of the settlement, officials from some member libraries said, and the discord could land the dispute back in court.
